Lacey S. asks: Hi all! We will be moving to Ft. Rucker Alabama in just a few months. My daughter will be starting kindergarten there and we want to live on post. Any thoughts on school and housing? It doesn't seem like there is too much info out there on Ft. Rucker so any info would be much appreciated! TYIA!!

We currently live on Fort Rucker in housing and our daughter goes to the school on post. I was a little disturbed by the fact that our pre schoolers don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t say the pledge every morning. We do like living on post and have met a lot of nice people. The weather here is very humid and hot, just about all year round. Over all it is an ok post.

Picerne at Fort Rucker needs to be more on top of their work orders, fixing them properly the FIRST time. If I had known what I know now, I would have went off-post.
